Be my valentine?

Robbie and I had an early valentine's date last night, it was so nice to go out on
a proper date (it feels like it's been forever!)

We went to dinner at one of our favourite restaurants (rock salt)..

..the food was beyond amazing!

After that we went to the movies and saw The Vow..

I was REALLLLLY looking forward to seeing this movie and I think I got my hopes up thinking it would be at the same level as the notebook.. but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I loved the first half of the movie but then it went in a direction I didn't really like so I was a little disappointed. It's still a great movie and one I definitely think you should see if you haven't already :)

So that was my valentine's date and it was perfect, not exactly a unique date haha but ain't nothing wrong with a classic dinner/movie date I say!

xx

  1. That food looks so good! I was looking forward to seeing this movie and now I will be walking in with a more realistic mind set. As I also was hoping for something as good as The Notebook.

  4. It sounds like you had a lovely night even if the movie didn't meet your expectations. My boyfriend and I always have an early Valentines day because it is much cheaper.

  10. Nothing wrong with classic anything. You look absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad you had a lovely time. I felt the same way about the book The Help. There had been so much hype that when I got around to reading it I felt a little disappointed. Hope the rest of your weekend was just as fun :)
