So far I think my postpartum diet & fitness plan has been going well. I've made a few small changes to reduce my sugar intake and up the amount of protein in my diet.
I have however, gone a little overboard with treat meals with my birthday celebrations and other social events this month so I haven't actually lost much weight (only 0.2kg/0.4lbs)..but hey it's better than a weight gain I suppose!
So here are the changes I've made to my eating/exercise plan since last month..

I don't always get time for morning and afternoon tea so I try to have a filling breakfast and lunch to keep me going. I've loved going back to the gym and sweating it out too, I just wish I had the time to go more often.. it's a lot harder when you have a little bub with you. I can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can start working-out outside!

I admire your efforts toward health. We should all be doing this.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing really well, you should be proud! :)
ReplyDeleteDoes James sleep really well in the evenings? I'm so jealous you can have healthy home-cooked meals each day! It's a battle to find time to eat, never mind cook at the moment, haha! I try have healthy cooked lunches instead to make up for it, as baby usually naps better then. Early evening he just gets overtired and needs to be held and settled often, not ideal when we want dinner!
You are doing so well and you look amazing. I need to be doing what your doing, I just have no motivation at the moment. Im blaming it on the weather, I so sounded like my Mother then she blames everything on the weather.
ReplyDeletewell done you for sticking to it, I am desperate at dieting, might nick the recipes though :) x Marina
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I finally hit the gym (6 months post-partum!) I'd been trying to do some small 10-minute workouts to keep me going though. I tried watching what I was eating, but it started messing with my milk supply (and while Ollie was going through a growth spurt!) so I had to nip that in the bud (oh darn!)
