It's Magic!

I went to see the highly anticipated movie Magic Mike with the girls last thursday and I have to say I WAS NOT disappointed!







I mean sure... the storyline was pretty crappy but who cares about that! The cast were smokin HOT and the stripping was hilarious! Channing Tatum sure knows how to work it! haha

If you're looking for a good movie that you can really get into, this isn't it! But if you're prepared to watch an average movie with smokin hot stripping scenes then you'll love this movie :) I'd watch it again.. but maybe on DVD so I can skip to the best parts haha

Be my valentine?

Robbie and I had an early valentine's date last night, it was so nice to go out on
a proper date (it feels like it's been forever!)

We went to dinner at one of our favourite restaurants (rock salt)..







..the food was beyond amazing!

After that we went to the movies and saw The Vow..







I was REALLLLLY looking forward to seeing this movie and I think I got my hopes up thinking it would be at the same level as the notebook.. but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I loved the first half of the movie but then it went in a direction I didn't really like so I was a little disappointed. It's still a great movie and one I definitely think you should see if you haven't already :)

So that was my valentine's date and it was perfect, not exactly a unique date haha but ain't nothing wrong with a classic dinner/movie date I say!

My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and I had the BEST day!

I took the day off work (hallelujah!) and woke up to breakfast in bed (robbie made me pancakes with strawberry love hearts - he's so sweet!)..


Then met up with mum for lunch..




..and to see Harry Potter (in 3D - hence the sexy glasses)



Then went to my new fave vintage shop and bought some much needed dresses..







Mum and I then met up with the rest of the family for dinner (at one of my fave restaurants).


All in all, a perfect birthday! :)

Oh and I did take pictures of my outfit but I might post them another day as this post is already picture heavy.

I've had such a great weekend!

Friday night the girls and I got together for the gala screening of bridesmaids -

The movie was HILARIOUS! I was laughing out loud the whole time, definitely one to see with the girls!

We also got a cute little goodie bag too :)


Yesterday I finally went out and bought an iphone (woohoo!) I'm having so much fun playing with the apps! So far I have the weight watchers, get running, sleep cycle and wheres wally apps :)

and I couldn't resist getting a few things from Lush while I was out..

Honey Bee bath ballistic, Porridge soap & Bathos bubble bar

Today I'm gonna grab a good book, a cup of tea and just cosy up and read. God I love weekends!

Our Trip to Hobart - Day Three

Less than perfect

Robbie and I went to the movies last night and saw Love and Other Drugs...

I thought it was alright, bit of a cliché rom com. It did have hot sex scenes though haha. I'd prob give it a 3 out of 5.

Run baby run...

I am having such a great weekend.

I meet up with the girls on friday night for dinner (hogs breath yum yum)... We invited a girl we met last weekend (out drinking) who just moved here and doesn't really know anyone, she seemed really nice so we thought why not, you can never have enough friends right? ...and i'm glad we did, cause she's really cool. We're catching up with her again next weekend :)

Last night, R suprised me by getting me some red roses (so sweet) and I made us a yummy dinner (italian chicken and pumpkin bake).



We then went and saw Going the Distance







I thought it was good, not something I could watch over and over again, but was a good laugh. I'd prob give it a 3.5 out of 5.
